Geck-o – Tripper Remixes
Geck-o’s ‘Tripper’ was the very first single released on The Funky Cat’s label. Now, more than five years later, we have come to celebrate our 100th label release! For this special occasion, we have given producers the chance to remix this classic. From the USA to Germany, from South Africa to Japan, from Russia to Australia – we received submissions for the remix contest from all over the world. From this huge pile of personal interpretations of Tripper, Geck-o carefully listened to each one of them and picked his favorites for this landmark release. It was awesome to unexpectedly see members from our community step forward as amazing producers, as well as getting absolute masterpiece remixes from complete strangers. The result is an extremely diverse package, full of creativity and surprises. Congratulations to Faestos, Dead Stare, exspesless, KrematoV, whodatdude, STORM, Lucky Rabbit, Subcreation and The Buckness for winning the contest and adding your unique spice to CATID100. Full of inspiration, Geck-o himself couldn’t help but make a brand new remix as well… 😉
